California Activist Group Paying Teens $1,400 In Taxpayer Money
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: Campus Insanity
To Undergo "Social Justice" Training. teaser image “You get paid good.” According to the Free Press, the group Californians for Justice (CFJ) inked contracts with the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) between 2019 and 2023 for this endeavor. These contracts, which the outlet obtained, showed that the LBUSD used taxpayer funds to pay CFJ almost $2 million to facilitate equity and leadership development training for students and teachers. Aside from this, the contracts also allotted a total of $20,200 to 13 parents for their participation in the group’s programs. The outlet added that from December 2019 until the present, the LBUSD has paid at least 78 students a total of nearly $100,000 for participating in CFJ’s programs. The programs are led by the group’s staff instead of officials from the school district. The most recent contract runs until June. History of violent fights, alleged anti-white racism plagues Missouri high school
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: The Post Millennial
...at center of brutal beating controversy. Libs of TikTok revealed on Monday that she had been in touch with a former student at the Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis, Missouri, where a brutal fight between female students on Friday resulted in one student hospitalized in critical condition and another under arrest. That student claimed that anti-white hate had been the cause of bullying against that student 25 year ago. In 2017, a principal alleged that anti-white discrminination was the cause of her demotion. This was reported at the time by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. In 1975, the school district was at the center of a Supreme Court case where district authorities were accused of maintaining anti-black discrimination policies for faculty and staff.

Topic: Violence Against Women
Source: Reuters
Becoming just the 3rd European country to do so. Denmark will become just the third European country to conscript women for military service starting in 2026, the Danish government announced Wednesday. Norway started conscripting women in 2015, and Sweden in 2017. The announcement was one of a few made to address what the prime minister said are major defense shortcomings, particularly as tensions in the region are heightened due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Reuters reports

Kansas Court issues significant ruling on gender identity on driver's licenses
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: KMBC
A judge ruled Monday that barring Kansas drivers from identifying as transgender on their licenses did not violate their constitutional rights. Republican Attorney General Kris Kobach filed a lawsuit against Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly in July 2023 after the governor’s office said that the state would continue to issue driver’s licenses reflecting a person’s gender identity despite the Kansas Legislature passing a bill requiring only biological sex on government IDs, according to the Kansas Reflector. Judge Teresa Watson upheld her previous ruling from last year barring the Kansas Department of Revenue from adding options other than a person’s biological sex to driver’s licenses and further stated that the law did not violate transgender individuals’ rights under the state constitution, according to court documents.

'This Is A Moral Panic' -
Topic: Children and Family
Source: Zero Hedge
Trans Activists Furious That Britain's 'Far-Right' NHS Banned Puberty Blockers For Kids “Experimental drugs with huge harms should never have been given to children. As one might expected Transgender activists were furious at the NHS's decision, with advocacy group Stonewall stating “All trans young people deserve access to high quality, timely healthcare.” The group went on to falsely claim that puberty blockers are reversible, stating “For some, an important part of this care comes in the form of puberty blockers, a reversible treatment that delays the onset of puberty, prescribed by expert endocrinologists, giving the young person extra time to evaluate their next steps. We are concerned that NHS England will be putting new prescriptions on hold until a research protocol is up and running at the end of 2024.”

About Half of US Parents Still Paying for Adult Kids
Topic: Children and Family
Source: CNBC
Survey finds working parents give twice as much to adult children as to retirement savings. Parents who financially support adult children are in the norm. Nearly half of US parents—47%—financially support an adult child in some way, according to a new survey conducted by Savings.com. As housing and food costs have risen, the likelihood of a young person moving out on their own has fallen. As CNBC reports, millennials and members of Generation Z not only have lower wages than their parents did at the same age, after adjusting for inflation, but also have larger student debt. Members of Gen Z (those aged 18 to 27) are particularly in need of help, according to the survey, which found parents help Gen Z children cover at least three bills on average, Quartz reports.

White House chief of staff ripped after dismissing harassment claims
Topic: Sexual Harassment
Source: The New York Post
... against ‘Jill Biden’s work husband’ without investigation. Former aides to President Biden say they’re outraged that White House chief of staff Jeff Zients dismissed their allegations of bullying and verbal sexual harassment against first lady Jill Biden’s top aide Anthony Bernal — with Zients declaring them “unfounded attacks” without investigating. Three sources exclusively told The Post Monday that Bernal, who is considered one of the most powerful officials at the White House due to his relationship with the first lady, repeatedly speculated to them about the penis sizes of coworkers and inappropriately postulated the sexuality of peers. Zients said in response to those complaints Monday evening that he and the first couple “have full confidence in Anthony’s character” and that “[i]t is disappointing that he is the target of unfounded attacks from unnamed sources” — a statement that a prominent sexual harassment expert called “an incredible no-no.”

Maine Dems Face Backlash over Transgender/Abortion Tourism Bill
Topic: Abortion
Source: The Washington Stand
Democrats in the Pine Tree State are quietly reintroducing legislation to prevent parents from protecting their children against abortion and transgenderism. LD 227 was introduced in the Maine state legislature as a “concept draft” containing only two lines under the title, “An Act Regarding Health Care in the State,” but less than a week before the Maine House of representatives hosted a hearing on the bill, Democrats replaced the “concept draft” with a lengthy amendment, according to Maine Wire. The amendment would make gender transition procedures and late-term abortions a “legal right,” block “interference” against these “rights” from parents of minors, and allow those affected by “hostile litigation” in other states to sue those states in Maine.

California study: Attempted-suicide rate among men who had gender surgery
Topic: Political Correctness

...was "twice as high" as it was before operation. They call it "gender-affirming care" and tell us that not "affirming" gender identity is the equivalent of genocide. "A living daughter is better than a dead son," the doctors say to parents as they calculate their bill. All of us — even the liberals and get-rich-quick doctors who push it — we all know this is a lie; and now we have a study out of California that confirms it.

Mace says she won’t be going on ABC again: ‘Good effing luck’
Topic: Violence Against Women
Source: The Hill
Mace and Stephanopoulos engaged in a testy debate on Sunday’s episode of “This Week” when he asked her how she could endorse Trump after he was found liable for sexual battery in a defamation lawsuit with E. Jean Carroll last year. He had opened the interview by playing a clip from 2019 of her delivering testimony about being a victim of rape. Mace criticized Stephanopoulos for “shaming” her by asking why she supported Trump throughout her appearance on ABC. Stephanopoulos argued that his question was not meant to “shame” her and, at one point, called her “courageous” for coming forward as he continued to press her on the question.

'Constitutional crisis'? Maine bill nationalizes transgender hormones
Topic: Political Correctness

England halts them for kids. "Sanctuary state" bill would spark "rapid tit-for-tat escalation" by red states, Republican attorneys general warn Maine. Former UK prime minister to offer bill banning puberty blockers in private gender clinics. Conservative elected officials sometimes accuse California of making policy choices for all Americans by dint of its population size and concomitant regulatory power. Now they are threatening legal action against a Golden State mini-me for legislation that would purportedly override other states' laws restricting abortion as well as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and genital surgeries for gender confusion.

Here’s what Pramila Patten’s UN report on Oct 7 sexual violence actually said
Topic: Violence Against Women
Source: Mondoweiss
The UN report on sexual violence on October 7 has found no evidence of systematic rape by Hamas or any other Palestinian group, despite widespread media reporting to the contrary. But there are deeper problems with the report’s credibility. Over the past four months, a concerted propaganda campaign, mounted by the Israeli government and amplified across various Western media outlets, has accused Hamas of using rape as a weapon of war on October 7. Allegations that Hamas planned and carried out a systematic campaign of sexual violence (with acts ranging from the deeply grotesque to the outright fetishistic and bizarre) have been used to paint the Palestinian resistance as inhuman and to justify Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. Recently, analysis demonstrating the fallacious nature of these claims — the fabrications, factual errors, and journalistic malpractice, the non-credible witness and first responder testimonies, the Israeli military affiliations of key sources, as well as the absence of any forensic evidence or video or photographic proof — has broken through into the mainstream.

What You Need to Know About the New Over-the-Counter Birth Control Opill
Topic: Women's Health
Source: The Cut
For many people — including young people, low-income people, and people who live in rural areas with sparse access to medical care — just getting a prescription for birth control can be a formidable task. While the Affordable Care Act requires insurance to fully cover the cost of birth control, that’s only useful if you can find time to get to the doctor in the first place (and not useful at all if you don’t have insurance). But it doesn’t have to be this way. In most of the world, birth control is available over the counter, without a prescription. And this month, America is finally catching up to the global consensus. On March 18, Opill — the first FDA-approved over-the-counter birth-control pill — will be available for sale online at Opill.com and hitting the shelves of pharmacies around the country within the next few weeks.

Margaret Atwood, Elon Musk sound alarm over Trudeau Liberals' Online Harms Act. Justin Trudeau has finally managed to unite people from across the political spectrum – against his Liberal government's Online Harms Act. Upon its release, the proposed legislation garnered criticism from conservatives, however, it has now come under attack by lifelong liberals, and those who fall somewhere in between. Among those warning of the potential consequences of Bill C-63, which Justice Minister Arif Virani claimed would make the internet a safer place for all, especially children, are legendary Canadian author Margaret Atwood and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Tyranny in drag
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: Spiked Online
Author: by Brendan O’Neill
It really is time we dismantled the scaffolding of deceptive rhetoric that surrounds the tyranny of woke. Angela Eagle, a Labour MP who served in the governments of both Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, recently gave voice to the illiberal aspirations of the government-in-waiting. Her choice of words was impeccably politically correct. Labour, she said last week, will ‘legislate for a trans-inclusive conversion therapy ban, make anti-LGBT+ hate crime an aggravated offence [and] modernise gender-recognition processes’. What a lovely collection of buzzwords. Who could object? Well, me.

The battle for the Hampstead ladies’ pond
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: Spiked Online
An unusual scene erupted in a school hall in Hampstead, north London earlier this month. Around 200 female volunteers from the Kenwood Ladies’ Pond Association (KLPA) met to discuss the fate of the women-only natural bathing pond on Hampstead Heath. The meeting was genteel at the start, as one might expect of a group of middle-class women discussing the affairs of a swimming pond. But it soon descended into a ferocious shouting match. The main question on the agenda was whether transwomen – aka men – should be let in.

Racist Decries Lack of Blacks in Depiction of Feudal Japan
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: Moonbattery
These days, everything that ever happened anywhere gets shoehorned into Afrocentric ideology: "The 2024 version of Shogun begins in 1600, as did the 1980 version, both based on the novel by James Clavell. …1980 Shogun, starring Richard Chamberlain, also reinforced the white savior trope, far too common in film, television, and history books. The 2024 version focuses far more on the Japanese perspective. The white characters appearing in the first episodes representing Portugal, Spain, England, and Holland could hardly be deemed heroic." So far so woke. A part of Americana “hailed by many as a cinematic wonder” has been reconstructed so as to comply with liberal establishment ideology by denigrating Caucasians

Childless China..

Coercive Population Plan Implodes teaser image China is paying the price for its barbaric and byzantine policies. Countless people were swept up by the maelstrom of fear created by Ehrlich’s 1968 book, which predicted mass famine due to a coming “population explosion.” The Population Bomb was omnipresent on college campuses in the late 1960s and early ’70s and received a massive amount of media attention because of its scary subject matter. (Three decades after it was published, I was assigned the book as an undergrad in college.) Ehrlich, who at the time was young, telegenic, and breezily confident, was happy to talk about his book on TV and offer social “remedies.” His solution to the population bomb began with government-sponsored propaganda designed to convince Americans that no patriotic family would have more than two children (“preferably one”).

Why did the BBC fawn over a Syrian child rapist?
Topic: Political Correctness
Source: Spiked Online
A Newsnight report smeared his 14-year-old accuser as a sexually promiscuous racist. Back in 2016, BBC’s Newsnight produced what was supposed to be a heartwarming documentary about a family of Syrian refugees. ‘To Hell and Back’ followed the Badreddin family over the course of 11 months, following their journey from war-torn Syria to their new life in Newcastle in the UK. Halfway through production, however, there was a hitch. One of the Badreddins, 18-year-old Omar, was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl shortly after arriving in the UK. Two other men were charged with sexual assault as part of the case, one of whom was alleged to have molested a second girl.

‘We need to stop telling kids they’ve been traumatised’
Topic: Children and Family
Source: Spiked Online
Abigail Shrier on how therapy culture makes children miserable. By every available metric, Gen Z has the worst mental health of any past generation. Diagnoses of mental-health disorders and the use of antidepressants are surging among the young. Even suicide is tragically on the rise. Yet, at the same time, no other generation has ever had such easy access to therapy. No other generation has ever been so ‘aware’ of the apparent importance of looking after one’s mental health. And none has ever been so comfortable using the language of ‘PTSD’, ‘anxiety’ or ‘trauma’. For Abigail Shrier, author of Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren’t Growing Up, these two trends are inextricably linked. The mental-health industry has colonised childhood. And it is doing far more harm than good.
